Planned Late Start for Feb. 2 and Non-Standard Bell Schedule for Feb. 3

New this year, Jeffco will implement three,  2-hour delays to support teacher professional time. The same schedule used for 2-hour delays for inclement weather will be used on these days. PK-12 students will start their school day 2 hours later than their normal school day – i.e. Arvada High School’s 8:10 a.m. start will begin at 10:10 a.m. on late start days. All services will run 2 hours later than normal on these days including transportation. 

Bell Schedule for Feb. 2:

• P1: 10:10 - 11:10
• P3:  11:15 - 12:15
• Lunch: 12:15* - 12:55 
• P5: 1:00 - 2:00
• P7: 2:05 - 3:05

In order to keep class times equal between blocks, we will use a non-standard schedule on the Friday that follows a planned late start day.

Bell Schedule for Feb. 3:

• Period 2:  8:10 - 9:10
• Academy Time: 9:15 - 10: 15
• Period 4: 10:20 - 11:20
• Lunch: 11:20* - 12:05
• Period 6:  12:10 - 1:10
• Community time:  1:15 - 3:05

* 9th graders are dismissed for lunch 5 minutes after other grades.
